Commercial Removal – Commercial Customers
We have had the pleasure of working alongside many Companies, Councils and Boards with our customers satisfaction being our main priority. Many of the Companies we have worked with remain to use Knightmovers as their primary Company for all their removal and storage needs.
Here is a few of the contracted work and Companies we have worked alongside:
Natural Resources Wales
We have worked alongside Natural Resources Wales, with us being their preferred Removers. Knightmovers assisted with the relocation of Offices which involved packing and removal of office furniture and equipment between two locations. We also provided packaging, hiring out of crates and in some instances Porter Hire for certain jobs.
Wales Audit Office
Knightmovers assisted the Wales Audit Office with the relocation of their offices. This involved a tailored packing and removals service with the removal of all office furniture and equipment. We supplied protective packaging, with hired crates being delivered and collected. Knightmovers also hired out Porters for specific jobs to meet the needs of our customer.
Catrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd
Knightmovers assisted Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd (CCG) on a renovation project on their tenants’ properties. This was a large Contract which was tailored to meet the needs of the tenants involved which included the supply of packaging, packing, removals and storage services. This is the Housing Association’s testimonial on the works undertaken by ourselves:-
“As part of the Welsh Housing Quality Standard improvements to all of Cartrefi Cymunedol Gwynedd’s (CCG) homes between 2010 and 2015, approximately £8 million was spent on completely renovating 82 Airey Non-Traditional houses originally erected after the second world war. These properties had a finite life expectancy and as such CCG took the decision to completely refurbish them. In essence, brand new cavity wall, modern home were built under the existing roof structure.
The scope of works on this difficult undertaking, meant that all the families living in these homes had to be decanted into temporary accommodation within the CCG’s void stock. Any excess furniture and belongings had to be put into secure storage for approximately twelve months during the project. In order to undertake this mammoth task CCG employed the services of Knightmovers based in Llanbedr. The whole process of decanting the tenants out of their homes into temporary accommodation and then moving them back into their new homes went seamlessly, due to close partnership established between CCG and Knightmovers. The practicality of this work offered countless challenges, however through the professionalism and compassion of the Knightmovers staff, CCG’s tenants were moved back into their new homes on time, within budget and in full.
In addition to the Non-Traditional project, Knightmovers also managed the decanting of CCG’s vulnerable tenants housed in various sheltered units across Gwynedd, into alternative flats so that tradesmen could install new kitchens, bathrooms, central heating and electrical circuits to their homes.”
